B&W Engineering Corp. was founded in 1976 by Jack M. Brown and Hubert (Hub) L. White.  Mr. Brown started in the 1930s with an avid interest in what was then called "radio" and an introduction to RADAR in the 1940s.  Mr. Brown has served as Chief Engineer, Chief, Applications Engineer and Development Manager of various companies including President of B&W Engineering Corp. (1976-1986).  Notable projects include development of the autopilot with Bill Lear for the US Air force, microphone designs, numerous patents on products from relays to AC batteries.

Garry L. Black began his involvement with reliability testing when joining B&W Engineering Corp. in 1981.  After five years as protegee of Jack Brown, President and founder of B&W Engineering, Garry began charting his own course as President of B&W.  Since 1986 Garry has been the President of B&W.  In addition to hundreds of successful installations of equipment he has diligently pursued the study of microelectronic assembly, electronic reliability and electro-mechanical engineering.  Garry is a member of IES, the Institute of Environmental Sciences, and ISHM, the International Society of Hybrid Microelectronics.

B&W is constantly adapting to the needs of our customers.  Uniform PC based platforms offer low cost, high reliability and high performance instruments

B&W Engineering is a manufacturer of high reliability and environmental test equipment.  B&W manufactures PIND, Shock, and Vibration systems for use in MIL-STD-883, MIL-STD-750, MIL-STD-202, CECC6500 and other industry standards for high reliability testing.

B&W Engineering is head-quartered in Costa Mesa, California.
